great timing light August 15, 2008
automotive technician by trade. have used numerous timing lights. this has the best "bang for the buck". have spent more than twice as much for lights units that don't measure up.

The Actron CP7529 Digital Timing Light is all it claims to be. I find it easy to use and very flexible (Dwell Angle, RPM, Strobe, Search Light). It is an asset for anyone interested in classic cars.

This timing light is very easy to use. Follow the included instructions and even a beginner can get down and dirty timing their own cars. Very bright light visible even in bright sunlight(did mine at 3pm on a hot summer afternoon and was still clearly visible.)
Better than I thought it would be July 23, 2008
I have the ActronCP7529 Digital timing Light. So far I've used this timing light to time a 32 year old six volt motorcycle, and a 30 year old twelve volt car.The light worked flawlessly on both applications. The light has a electronic thachometer that really comes in handy for an accurate measure of the engines RPM. A good looking instrument too. I expect many more years of timing bliss.
P.S. I bought it at Amazon. Got free shipping and it was at my door in 3 days.
easy to use and acurate device July 5, 2008
the timing light enabled me to get my rebuilt cb100 runing very smoothly. the rpm and timing functions are acurate, and the light very strong. The instructions for using the light on a 6 volt system were easy to use. It is worth the price.
