Bad customer service October 4, 2008 I have one of the pre-recall drills which originally came with a 1 hour charger. The manufacturer recalled the charger (batteries would catch on fire while charging) and sent me a replacement 3-5 hour charger. 5 hour recharge times? I'm not impressed. A good company would have eaten the cost to replace whatever necessary to keep the 1 hour charge time.
Bad Batteries and charger RECALLED July 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The drill motor seems so be ok. However, the NiCD batteries are NO GOOD. They do not hold a charge. There is a Nation Wide RECALL on these units. Call 1-877-231-9239 for help in replacing these parts, charger, and two batteries. By the way, this includes 19 VDC and 21.6 VDC units.
The case is very nice and the extra parts, bits etc. seem to be ok.

Kawasaki drill July 21, 2008 Great while it lasted..Just didn't last long! The drive gear stripped while screwing in a screw. No replacement parts! Spend the money on something else.
Great Drill July 21, 2007 I have had this drill for about 6 months of moderate use and I have no complaints. Great value. I love having two battery packs - no power outage if the first one needs recharged. Couldn't have asked for more in this price range.
Great for the money July 18, 2007 My wife got me this in place of a more expensive unit that I didn't think was necessary. This unit has been great until YESTERDAY. It still works great, even the batteries seem good, but now when I squeez the trigger all the way in the drill stops and I have to let off a SMIDGE> Sounds like there is a SPED SWITCH problem based on the previous review.
