Amazon.com Product Description The Campbell Hausfeld WG2060 95 Amp MIG/Flux Versa-Arc welder can handle 24-gauge to 3/16-inch steel and accepts wire sizes of .024 inch, .030 inch, and .035 inch on 4-inch or 8-inch spools. A built-in gas liner and valve make the Campbell Hausfeld WG2060 welder MIG ready. Switch between MIG and Flux settings with the external polarity control. The welder's independent drive deck transformer provides consistent wire speed to make smoother welds. An automatic shut-off feature prevents overheating, and the infinite wire speed gives you the control to make precise adjustments for an even weld bead. The rotary heat switch has four settings to adjust output power to different metal thicknesses, and the professional torch and trigger-activated arc provide precise placement of your welds. This professional torch is equipped with trigger activated arc for easy start, is powered by a 115-volt current and generates 70 Amps of power. The Versa-Arc welder includes a welding shield, hammer/brush, starter spool of flux core wire, quick-start guide, and MIG regulator, hose, and clamps. Campbell Hausfeld backs its welder with a 5-year limited warranty. What's in the Box Welder, welding shield, hammer/brush, starter spool of flux core wire, quick-start guide, and MIG regulator, hose, and clamps.

AMPERAGE LISTED IS INCORRECT December 10, 2007 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
Your welder on this page is #2060. Your banner says #2060 welder is a 70 AMP welder. The description of this welder in the body of the descriptions says #2060 is a 90 AMP welder. All company adds show that the 2060 is a 90 AMP Welder...however, your banner seems to be incorrect. You might wish to change it...on all the other sites -- even the Campbell Hausfeld site shows the #2060 as a 90 AMP WELDER...On all other sites...the #2060 is a 90 AMP wleder for around $284. the #2050 is a 70 AMP and sells for $199. Persons wishing to purchase this welder will not purchase because of the inaccurate listing...it looks like a bad deal...however...if corrected to #2060 90 AMP...rather than 2050 70 AMP...it looks normal. Bottom line...your listing of #2060 is correct...as your description says...but only one word...70 AMP in the title is wrong.
Excellent Welder -- versatile and good quality! March 28, 2006 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
I had just bought a lower priced model CH welder at Walmart the week prior when I saw this model here on Amazon. I was not looking for an upgraded model like this to weld Aluminum, etc. but the Amazon coupon offer (at the time) made it too temping. The free shipping was very fast via FedEx ground and arrived well padded and perfect. I tried it out on some scrap metal and it worked well. The tension control needs to be played with a bit to get a perfect feed but other than that it's great. The four heat settings make welding the right materials a snap. You don't need a 20A circuit per se, but to use heat setting 4 for any length of time you will. I asked my cousin, aka Big Country (a senior welder), to give me his thoughts and he said it could not have been beat for the dollar and that it was "nice!"
