Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
For chop saws and radial arm saws. These top-quality miter saw blades produce perfectly cut miter joints. Made with double-hard C-4 submicron carbide for up to 300% longer life. A heavier than normal steel plate and a negative face hook maintain maximum stability for the best cut. Each blade is hand-straightened to a runout of .001/.002 for maximum cut quality. The tooth style (4 points and a flat) maximizes steady, clean cuts with no bottom splintering. You will be amazed by the extra-smooth, tight cuts you will get with this blade.

I have purchased two of these and sent both back. Test cuts showed swirls. I owned a prior blade and used it for years with excellent results. Their quality control has slipped.

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding performance   September 7, 2007
I have used many blades over the years yet i am still impressed every time I make a cut with this blade. I live by the rule: "you get what you pay for." You certainly get the best here.

5 out of 5 stars Forrest Chopmaster saw   August 29, 2007
This saw produces great splinter free cuts. It is expensive, but great for fine work. I use a less expensive utility blade for work not requiring splinter free cuts

5 out of 5 stars One truly amazing blade   August 23, 2007

The ultimate chopsaw blade. Even though I've been using the Forrest WW2 on my table saw for about a year, I was hesitant to spend the money on this blade. But I now have no regrets. I replaced the stock blade on my Makita LS1013 SCMS. The stock blade was great, but had seen better days. Why do I think its the ultimate blade? I've been working with my finish carpenter on trimming out my house and we both put new blades in our saws. I put on the Chopmaster and he put on a new Freud Diablo. The cuts definitely felt smoother and their appeared to be no tearout on the Chopmaster while their was a little on the Freud. I wasn't at the site one day but talked to my trim carpenter on the phone, he said he wanted to wait for me to get back so he could use my saw on some of the stain grade trim because it seemed to cut much cleaner than his Diablo. Now that's affirmation!
