Great, but hard to find and somewhat overpricedDecember 29, 2002 This is part of the locking hex shank (Rapid Load) collection. The hex shank bits are quick to change and don't slip under high-torque. I've found these bits last a decent amount. At least a lot better than the Stanley and junk Vermont American bits (which only last about one hole).
Overall, the hex shank bits do cost significantly more than the simple round bits. The ease at switching between drill bits, countersinks, phillips bits, etc., during a project is worth it.
