Amazon.com Review Running back and forth to the gas station to fill up car and bike tires, lawnmower wheels, boat trailers, and all those things that tend to go flat in the off season can get, well, tiresome. Cut out the back and forth with Black & Decker's air station inflator. This handy unit plugs into any 120 volt outlet in the shop, or garage to quickly and conveniently pump up sports balls, tires, air mattresses and more. It also plugs into auto cigarette lighters and doesn't take up much space in the car, boat, or camper for inflating sleeping pads and tires. The inflator easily inflates tires up to 200 psi. And, there's no more guessing when the tire is filled to capacity. The inflator is equipped with Black & Decker's EZ air dial that automatically shuts off once you've hit the desired psi. Convenient on-board cord, needle, and hose storage keeps all the goods in one place so that you don't have to hunt down the needle to take care of that hard-to-bounce basketball. --Brian D. Olson What's in the Box Standard tire nozzle, needle inflator, extension nozzle.

Works Good As Expected July 14, 2008 I used the air station to blow up my son's baby pool and it worked fast. So far it's been a good purchase.
Pretty Good July 11, 2008 Just received my inflator a few hours ago. Toddled out to air up a tire that has a slow leak and top off the others. Overall it did what it's supposed to and a little faster and lot less noisily than the Slime inflator I had that was never worth a flip. Wasn't as fast as I thought it would be but I think I expected too much. I don't mind the fact that you have to turn it off between tires because it gives it a couple minutes to cool down. My only peeve with it right off the bat is one common to most machines of this type. It's got a great little compartment to wind up the cords and shut the lid on. I jussst pulled the electrical plug far enough out to plug it in to my extension cord and of course had to pull the air hose out to its full length. Think it would go back in all neat and tidy as it came out? I can see that if I use it much on a day when I'm not extremely patient, the door cover is going to get snapped right off from trying to push it down over the cord/line that won't fit back in. Overall it's ok based on extremely limited experience. I'll update later and address durability.
Good Value, a little cheap on the attachments July 10, 2008 Overall the air station performs well. My only complaint is the attachment pieces are plastic and do not secure very well to the hose. I think they could have spent a few more dollars and supplied ones that were better made and longer lasting. I guess this is true of most things made today - cut corners wherever possible to stay competitive. I gave it a 4 star since the pump itself seems to perform acceptably.
Buy the Bon-Aire instead! July 8, 2008 I fill up bike tires for my kids, basketballs, soccer balls, dolly wheels and air mattresses and this is a piece of junk for me. I was willing to buy this and the Bon-Aire model at the same time, just knowing one version would be the clear winner "out of the box", and I was right! The Bon-Aire has MUCH long cords and hoses for simplicity. The Black and Decker? YUK.
Does what it does with no problems July 5, 2008 I don't get why people say its so loud, what do they expect? I'd like to see a quiet air compressor, lol. Anyways, for anyone that isnt a newb, the inflator works quite well, the only thing I wish it would have been included in the accessories was a presta valve adapter. I bought this to inflate my road bike mostly, but I just bought an adapter for 99 cents at the local bike shop. I really like the way it turns off by itself when it reaches the desired PSI.
