Magnificent October 21, 2008 The paint sprayer works magnificently for me, it saves me time, and time is money here in Trinidad. I would recommend this product to anyone who is in the painting business.

Work great October 13, 2008 I just sprayed water-based polyurethane on the inside of some kitchen cabinets I'm making. The sprayer worked great, and saved me a lot of time. It's reasonably easy to clean since I'm using water.
Great Unit! Hugh step up from cheaper home store models September 17, 2008 We use this to apply floor dyes and it works amazingly well. No leaking like you get with the cheaper models. It does exactly what we needed it to do. It sprays out a lot more than the cheaper models so you need to practice to get the hang of it...and be careful for overspray that sprays out wider from this unit. Great unit and worth the price.
Hold out for a better HVLP June 15, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've had this unit for a couple of years now...and in short it's priced fairly. Not too great but not too bad. It got me started with HVLP. It just does not have enough power for shooting any thick (even kinda thick) finish. If you just want to shoot waterborne poly it works fine.
I wanted to shoot paint and oil based poly. For paint, forget it. Even with the heavy needle it just shoots splatter. For oil based poly it can't shoot a smooth even finish. With the heavy needle in it you get orange peel.
It was a good intro machine for me, but I ended up going for the top end Accuspray on the second go round. Triple the price but you get professional results (why waste your time spraying if you get sub-par results?) and 3M's PPS which makes clean up a breeze. You know it's hard to justify the price for an expensive unit but think how many hours you have into your project. Why risk an average finish on it.
Great product May 23, 2008 Bought this to apply penetrating oil on a redwood fence/deck/trellis. Worked great. Only took a couple hours. Used to take all weekend to roll or brush then wipe off. Longest time was spent prepping with ground cloth etc.
By using a light spray, did not need to wipe off, and it was very clean application with almost no overspray.
I would HIGHLY recommended a respirator and tight fitting goggles. I used a dust mask and became overcome by the fumes. I guess because the material is so atomized it becomes vaporized very quickly.
Kind of loud, but not any worse than any spray apparatus. Also the manual was contradictory about nozzles types (diagram showed one thing, text another).
