Amazon.com Product Description Milwaukee Tools is world-renowned for producing powerful, heavy-duty tools for contractors, mechanics and demanding professionals in every trade. That very same devotion to power, performance and innovation was applied when Milwaukee created the 0928-29 V28 Four-Piece Combo Kit. Included are a hammer-drill/driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, and work light. All four tools are powered by a high-performance 28-volt lithium-ion battery that weighs less than an 18-volt Ni-Cad, yet delivers twice the run time. The battery has a handy "fuel gauge" that shows how much power remains. The hammer-drill/driver has a 1/2-inch keyless chuck and a two-speed, variable-speed motor (zero to 600 rpm, and zero to 1,800 rpm) that delivers a pumped-up 600 in./lbs. of torque. The chuck is equipped with carbide jaws that virtually eliminate bit slippage. There's no hole too large to drill, or screw too big to drive for this portable powerhouse. And when it's switched to the hammer mode, this tool will quickly bore through the hardest concrete, brick or stone. The 6-1/2-inch circular saw is arguably the most powerful cordless saw on the market. According to Milwaukee, this saw can crosscut more than 300 pine 2 by 4s on a single charge. It's equipped with a high-speed 4,200-rpm motor that chews through wood like a corded saw. The cordless Sawzall recip saw is an ideal tool for remodelers, plumbers, and electricians. When fitted with the appropriate blade, it'll cut practically any building material, including nail-embedded wood, metal ducts, plastic pipe, steel rods and roof shingles. Its two-speed, variable-speed motor (zero to 2,000, and zero to 3,000 strokes per minute) lets you choose the optimum cutting speed for the material. The saw has an aggressive 1-1/8-inch stroke length, and is equipped with a tool-free blade clamp and keyless adjustable shoe. The work light comes in handy when working in dark spaces. It has a super-bright xenon bulb that runs over five hours on a single charge. All four pieces come with the patented Clip-Lok System, which allows you to securely hook the tool onto your belt or tool pouch. Besides the four tools, the 0928-29 combo kit also includes two 28-volt lithium-ion batteries, a one-hour charger, saw blades and screwdriver tips, and an oversized canvas storage bag. -- Joseph Truini

Milwuakee 28V Cordless Set August 9, 2008 This is the third set I have bought. One more kid to go. They are awesome tools. The perfect serious housewarming gift!
Great tools. Packaging Problems August 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received these via UPS from Amazon. The tools themselves are great, however the box/packing they came in could have been better. The product was shipped in the original Milwaukee carton without any form of outer box. The Milwaukee box was obviously not designed for shipping. Under normal circumstances, all the tools would fit nicely into a plastic tray. After UPS shipping/handling, all the tools came scrambled inside the box. The drill was even missing one of the screwdriver bits that must have fell out of the loosely sealed carton. Needs better method of shipping/packing. Luckily nothing was broken.
wrong item August 6, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good value and perfect for the boat. My big complaint is that the set came packaged with the 18V work light instead of the 28V. Someone at Milwaukee picked the wrong item and no one at Milwaulkee or Amazon was willing to just switch out the one item. Since we wanted to use the drill and saw right away, I didn't want to ship the complete kit back for a replacement. I get irritated every time I see that silly light which is worthless since we have no 18V battery!
Gimme a break! May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love these tools and the power but the damn flashlight was assembled in a hurry or something. The connections inside have broken due to the wires rubbing against the swivel head. What's up with the quality control over at milwaukee.
28 volt power madness May 3, 2008 I waited for a conciderable amount of time before making a decision to buy this Milwaukee combo kit. As a life long Milwaukee power tool user I looked at all the other options that were provided by Makita, DeWalt, Porter-Cable, Hilti... I was not disapointed with my purchase in the least. Compared to my worm drive circular saw the battery powered unit is so easy to use, much lighter and rip cuts so well I may sell my corded one because it won't be getting much use. The Sawzall also works really well once again making me look twice at what I can get for corded version, if sold. The Litium Ion batteries charge up fast and are very powerful but I think that Milwaukee has it right when they suggest to charge te batteries overnight one a week to make sure that they remain conditioned to maintain full all day lasting power on the job sites. One last thing to mention, the hammer drill is also fabulous if not a little heavy when using it inverted above your frequently during the day, or driving screws, but as usual Milwaukee made it eavy duty and bomb proof. These are not your average Do It Yourselfers tools. Truly professional grade! Keeping that in mind, I would not trade the power of these tools for a litle bit of a workout that they offer because of the additional weight of the batteries. Also I think that the individual boxes that are offered on Amazon is a good investment when carrying the bag with all the blades, bits and additional tools becomes difficult to organize. I'm really happy with this combo... but I think that's obvious by now.
