Amazon.com From the moment you pick up this driver, you know it's good stuff. It's incredibly compact, lightweight and fits so well in the hand, thanks to the neat ribbed surface of the ergonomic grip. Performance-wise, it rates even higher with us. Panasonic's built in a cool power mode switch so you can choose your torque level: 1060 inch-pounds for the tough stuff, but a less aggressive 711 inch-pounds for fasteners that don't need strong-arming, saving you lots of stripped screws. The LED light is strong enough to illuminate the work, and it's trigger-activated, so you don't have to worry about running out a battery because you left the light on. The belt hook is a nice feature too, but even better is the rapid charge and long charge hold. It takes only 55 minutes to fully charge a drained battery, and there's even a quick five-minute part-capacity emergency charge, in case you've got just three more bolts to tighten to finish the job and go home. This one's definitely among the cream of the compact impact driver crop.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

An easy purchase August 2, 2008 I already had the Panasonic driver drill and love it. How could I go wrong with their impact driver? It was a good choice. It compliments the other unit well. Panasonic makes great products. I'm very happy with this purchase
Very well designed and built January 17, 2008 This impact driver has a good ergonomic design that feels good in my hands and it's not very heavy. There is plenty of torque for any home improvement project. Made in Japan.
Great tool - February 28, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a previous post on this tool but it was incorrect. I do not own this tool. I have the Panasonic EY7202GQW instead. I feel that the 7202 which I own is a better tool. Search for it and compare features befor you buy.
Should have bought one sooner! January 12, 2007 Great driver. It makes quick work of driving screws into heavier gauge steel or wood. Although it is compact and light weight, which is good, a more powerful battery would be better for heavy duty work. It would make the drill heavier but it would tackle the tough jobs with more ease. In the course of my work day, I can drive 4 hours worth of framing screws into 20 gauge steel before changing batteries. That's pretty good and it makes them much easier to drive.
unbelievable power and control December 6, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I've had this tool for about a year now and I can say it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've removed damaged screws with it when nothing else worked, and been able to drive screws and lags with relative ease in situations where it would have been impossible to with a regular drill due to lack of leverage. And as with all Panasonic tools, the battery seems to last forever.
