Good for its price. November 17, 2008
I bought this bench grinder a few months ago for a reasonable price of 30$
This grinder itself it well built, and very powerful. To address another reviewer who claimed it had a weak motor, this it not true and it starts up very quickly.
I must warn you, however, that this item is dangerous if you turn it on without having it secured to a platform. The pre mounted grinding wheels are slightly offset when you turn it on for the first time, this causes the grinder to dangerously shake and tilt until you have properly set the wheels.
You also need a very sturdy platform to mount the grinder on. The item itself is pretty heavy and vibrates constantly.
Overall this is good affordable bench grinder, but I found setup to be a big hassel. Personally I wish I had bought a Dewalt grinder instead.

This grinder has very little power and starts very slow. When it finally gets going it is ok but I would not recommend
