Amazon.com Any woodworker worth any sawdust at all knows you can never have too many clamps. We've said it ourselves a hundred times. You especially can't have too many Quick Grips. We love these clamps particularly because they require just one hand to secure; in the past, with other clamps, you needed a helper to hang onto the little wood blocks you used to keep from marring your workpiece surface while you adjusted the clamp. Those days, thankfully, are gone. Quick Grip's slick one-hand operation is bested only by the addition of super smooth, pliable pads on the jaws. The clamp's design prevents overtightening, too, so the risk of marring is eliminated. The pistol grip feels great in your hand - it sits perfectly, and the squeeze grip is smooth and easy, offering perfect one-handed operation and quicker tightening. One press of the release trigger and the clamp opens for macro adjustments or removal. This set offer a great assortment of Quick Grips. The 12-inchers are at work in our shop all the time, and you'll find a hundred uses for the minis and the Handi-Clamps, too. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Restoration November 2, 2003 I have used these clamps for a few years on picture frame restoration. The small clamps are wonderful for holding small areas while glue is drying. The only negative is the yellow pads tend to fall off as the tool ages. We have stuck picture frame bumpers on them and that seems to work fine if the pads are lost.
Life saver March 22, 2003 These clamps came in handy during my recent kitchen remodeling project. I'm sure they'll be put to good use in the future as well. Easy clamping and release mechanism.
