One common problem with routing is not being able to see the work. The tool itself gets in the way as you cut, blocking your vision so you can't really tell how the cut is progressing. Black & Decker solved this problem with a special design that offers four times the visibility of traditional routers for better control, more accurate cuts and cleaner edges. A large plastic window, contoured to the router base, protects against wood chips and other debris. A dust extraction chute also clears the work surface when attached to a shop vacuum.

Best of all, a push-button spindle lock makes changing bits a snap.
