Amazon.com Product Description Not all narrow crown staplers are alike. The Stanley SFS100K has a depth adjustment dial under the trigger that allows the user to adjust the depth drive for different substrates. It also has a convenient bottom load magazine with a reload indicator. The rubber grip is ergonomically designed to reduce the stress commonly associated with heavy use. The narrow crown -inch stapler packs 124 in./lbs. of driving power and can be used for dozens of applications. It's handy for interior or exterior finish trim work, upholstery and furniture work, floor underlayment and carpet installation, crafts and hobby projects, attaching low voltage wiring, screens or stucco wire. The uses are only limited by your imagination. The Stanley SFS100K accepts to 1-inch 18-gauge -inch staples. It operates at 70 to 120 psi and has a tool-free adjustable air exhaust to direct spray away from the work surface. -- C. I am very happy with this stapler. It is light and small. My wife has no problems using it and it is small enough to fit into relatively tight areas. The depth of the staples is controllable by adjusting the air pressure from the compressor or by turning the dial on the gun. I have used this stapler on roofing paper for a rabbit hutch and the staples were flush without punching through the paper. The rubber grip makes for a secure and comfortable feel and the reload indicator is convenient for letting you know whether the gun is empty when you first get it out, but once I'm using it more often than not I am surprised when I am out of staples.

Used it once and it paid for itself. Easy to spot in Shop especially when you are in the middle of a massive project and you have a dozen other power tools out!
Good stapler for the money January 3, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this stapler to help fill out my growing pneumatic tool collection. The included 1" staples are a bit large for my current purposes, so I haven't used them aside from tests (which this stapler passed without a problem). I've been using 1/2" and 5/8" staples in some frames to hold the backs in place, and this stapler allows me to place the staples in such a way that the back is held in, but still removable.
All around this seems like a solid product, and I would have given it a 5, but during some of my stapling on the frames (which was done at an angle), I got some misfires. While this did not result damage, it is frustrating, because placing the gun for these shots is delicate.
