why did i buy it July 13, 2008 PSI Woodworking LCENTSS22 #2 MT w/ 1-Inch Crown Super Wood Lathe Drive Center
Not sure why I bought it. It works ok but not for holding large blanks. I now use a 1 1/4 inch four tooth driver that works great. This sits in my garage now.
Lathe drive center June 27, 2008 Drive center does not hold wood securely. Lathe drive will continue while billet in lathe stops, Even with substantial pressure from tail stock. Probem more pronounced in hard wood. I would not recommend this product.
PSi Crown Super Wood Lathe Center June 2, 2008 I also have the Sorby version of this center and the PSI is just as good and only 1/3 the price. I have to put a best buy lable on this one.

Excellent quality. February 9, 2008 This is the drive center I use for most of my spindle work. It's a very nicely made imitation of the Sorby Steb Center and so far has held up just fine. I also recommend the 5/8" version for smaller work (the smaller size has fewer teeth and doesn't bite into the wood as well, so this larger version is preferable unless you're turning something pretty small).
Nice drive center September 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works great. Much better grip than the stock 4 prong drive center that came with my lathe. The retractable point is a nice touch. Works great on my Jet Mini lathe. I also bought and like the 5/8" model of this drive center.
