Product Description Press pen segments together with controlled lever action. A sliding rod adjusts for progressively longer segments. Includes long lever handle and two alignment pins. Indispensable for any pen maker!

Let's get real January 14, 2010 REB (Austin, Texas United States) I recently bought this item and am pleased with it.
I had to remove the assembly that holds the sliding arm because otherwise I couldn't have gotten the sliding arm attached but hey, I'm a woodwoorker, it wasn't hard.
The pen press came FAST. I'm a little skeptical of that long arm. Looks like it might bend but hey, this is a PEN PRESS. I don't need that much leverage.
This might not be the best pen press on the market but it's inexpensive and does the job. If that's what you are looking for then like me, you might want to give it high marks.
Grizzly Pen Press September 12, 2009 Bruce Johnson (golden valley, az) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The item is first pen press I have bought and it will the last. I really use this press alot. Grizzly was fast with the shipment and excellent packaging. Will not hesitate to do business with this company.
Pure Junk June 19, 2009 Andrew Little (Atlanta, GA) This pen press resembles the one that Penn State Industries sells for $39.99, but looks are where the similarities end. This press arrived with the screws that hold it to the base(particle board base, at that)completely missing. The first time it was used, the handle broke, rendering this piece of junk totally usless. I have now bought 3 Grizzly products: a Pen Press, a mini-lathe, and the G0555 "Ultimate" (ultimate junk is more descriptive) band saw. All have now exited my shop because all the pieces of equipment were not even worth the shipping that I paid, and Amazon picked up the shipping charges on the lathe and the pen press. Either I am ordering the wrong Grizzly products or they are paying folks to write good reviews. Because the products that I have recieved from them have ALL been either Chinese or Tiawanese junk.
works like a charm June 13, 2009 G. Stupp No more bent pens using a vise, the pen press does a much better job with no mistakes. Works great and a good investment if you want to make nice pens
Works very well May 7, 2009 Jon Newman (Austin, TX) This press works very well. My low rating has to do with the construction of the device. It is very wobbly even after tightening all the fasteners. You can work with it but your really need a third hand.
