If you've got Black & Decker tools that run on 18-volt batteries, you may as well stop reading here and just click on "Add to Shopping Cart." This Ni-Cad battery is a must-have for all Black & Decker tool owners.Black & Decker has built in a "no memory" technology that gives you 500 recharges (and more, we've heard) without ever losing capacity. And we could be wrong, but we think these do seem a little more powerful than the batteries that come with Firestorm and other Black & Decker 18-volt tools. THIS BATTERY MAKES LIFE SO EASY. IT ALLOWS YOU TO BE "WIRELESS" TO BLOW DRIVE AND LEAVES OR TRIM YOUR YARD. NO ELECTRIC CORDS TO PULL AROUND! LASTS FOR ABOT 20 MINUTES..LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET MY WORK DONE.

The Firestarter batteries seem to last longer than the batteries that came with the tools (regular B&D batteries).

Replacement battery that fits the Black and Decker line of yard tools/power tools. Charges quickly, holds a charge for about 25 minutes of run time. A must have if you need an extra powerpack for those jobs around the house.
