Amazon.com Review The best reason to include this Porter-Cable 14.4-volt flashlight in your toolbox is simply the convenience of being able to run it off your other Porter-Cable 14.4-volt batteries. It's easy to switch in the battery just when you need it, and without the battery, the unit is very lightweight and takes up little space. But it does provide plenty of illumination when and where you need it most, and it's heavy enough to sit upright on its battery so you can aim it and use it hands free. It has a 110-degree swiveling head and heavy-duty xenon bulb and comes with an extra bulb. Please note that a battery is not included with this model. --Jonathon Tudor

Hand Light December 11, 2007 I bought this on a whim. Thought I could use it in tight places and under tables on which I do wiring for a model railroad. This lamp is far superior to the ones I had been using. You can direct the light, it stays steady on the floor and no cord to drag along. Wish I had purchased it years ago.
Works well, very bright. February 26, 2007 Like others have mentioned, it's handy to have a flashlight that stands up on its own and has an adjustable directional beam. I bought it to also allow me to drain my NiCad battery packs between uses and to make additional use of my cordless drill batteries. It's pricey for a flashlight, that's my only reason for not giving it 5 stars.
Rugged, Functional, Rechargable April 28, 2006 I cant say enough about this flashlight. Its simple, the head swivels up and down, and it has an off on switch. With the battery installed, it is very stable too. I wont go on and on, but if you have an extra battery, this is where you should be keeping it, on the bottom of this awesome flashlight!
Great Flashlight March 20, 2006 I love this flashlight. I am an electrician so I use a flashlight quite often. As I already own a Porter Cable 14.4 volt drill, the convinience of having a battery at the ready for the flashlight is awesome. My favorite feature on the flashlight is the swivle head. I can put the light down and aim it at the target easily and not have to use an extra hand to hold the light. Usually lasts about 2 hours on a fully charged battery.
Good Light February 23, 2006 This thing comes in handy. Powerful, light-weight, and stands and pivots the beam to where you need it. Seems pretty easy on the battery power as well...one charge lasts quite a while.
