If you really want to take care of your car finish, this is the kit to buy. Together with a Porter Cable 7424 polisher, you can polish and wax like a true professional.
The pads vary from soft to firm. You can change pads in a second. They last and wash clean afterward. This kit is really great.
One caution: it's a good idea to cover molding with masking tape when using a power applicator. Or stay away from those areas and do them by hand.
This is my third orbital polishing system and by far the best I've ever used.
