The HTC Mobile Base provides a solid, stable stance that requires no tilting or adjusting, and also allows you to quickly move it when not in use. You can reposition the base for cutting long stock, as well as freeing up space on your shops floor. With this base your machine is held 3/4 inches off the floor at all times, eliminating the need to recalibrate those important machine setting that can be thrown off by raising and lowering the machine. This welded, one-piece base features the HTC exclusive three-point system, and two rigid wheels with locks. The base is constructed of heavy-gauge steel, and full-welded for strength and finished appearance. It also includes one locking swivel wheel to make moving your machine in any direction a breeze. The base is specifically designed for the JJ-6CS 6-inch jointer.

Stand is good quality, but Install Instructions are poor May 31, 2008
Install instructions are not written well with poor graphics. Received floor stop assembly and nowhere in the install instructions did it explain where to but the stop or to even install it. Went to HTC website to look at the mobile base picture and there I saw where it is attached. Instructions need to be rewritten.

This is a heavy duty, well built base. It makes a jointer a much more useful tool by allowing you to store it out of the way when you don't need it. Jointers are in that category of indispensable tools, but not a tool that is used too often. The jointer would not have been worth the price if I couldn't move it around. This mobil base is kinda high priced, but worth it.

I had tried another brand mobile base for my Jet Jointer. Don't waste your money on any universal base. This unit fits perfect and is very stable and easy to move around.

Quality mobile base and easy to assemble. The only thing I added
was a 3/16" thick rubber mat that my 6" jointer sit's on. I feel
this helps cut down on some vibration.

The mobile base was easy to assemble and works well. It should last the lifetime of the tool. A very sturdy accessory.
