This is a great box to have. It has a lot of weight to it, too! However, the power planer likely already comes in a plastic, blow-molded case. I do have a Bosch Miter Saw, though, and this heavy duty metal box is great for holding all of the extra parts and accessories for it. This box has foam rubber in the bottom.
The box is solid and will last forever! February 7, 2007

Great box for my planer, and I would guess for my next planer and my sons planers....Always amazes me that Bosch hasn't caught on to the fact that when many of us (Most???) buy hand tools we will want to put away neatly after use and don't have huge workshops with big tool cabinets. A cardboard box is not the answer, nor is and an expensive aftermarket box but I like my basement to look neat so this box is neat..and as solid as you would expect from Germany.
