4 out of 5 stars Good value, best sub Starrett combo square.   October 14, 2008
Great value on this one. Mine is as accurate as my small Starrett. Easy to read rule, the slide action is smooth and the yellow makes it easy to spot in the shop/job site (note: the amazon pic shows the rule as a black with yellow marks, but it is not.) Keep the Starrett for reference and use this for day to day work, so you don't cry when you drop this one ;)

5 out of 5 stars A necessary tool   October 1, 2007
This combination square is well made and easy to read. The different measurement increments on each side allows me to make quick and accurate measurements and different precision levels.

3 out of 5 stars Just a regular combination square   May 14, 2007

This product is not delivered as advertised. It is advertised with a black blade scribed with yellow color in the scribes. The blade is neither black or scribed. The blade is plane steel with black ink markings, no better than any square you can purchase at the hardware store. Oh well, I hope Amazon updates the description on the website. The square was average in all other respects. Not quite square but as good as any other construction grade square.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent value   November 18, 2006
Not a top of the line combo square, but adequate for my purposes.

You would have to spend at least $40 more to get a better square. this is great. at the current price you canafford to buy an extra for your other tool box.
