i had somewhat reviewed this product in my earlier ACOUSTIC RESEARCH AP-16100W 100' White 16 Gauge Oxygen-Free Speaker Wire review. However i do want to say that anyone good with a screwdriver, can cut perfect speaker wires properly with this tool. However i must stress that the wastage can bum you out as you try to remove the shielding and expose some proper copper wire for your setup. But good tool and simple to use!

These are very handy for use with small wires in the 18-22 gage range. They're very sturdy, and I am happy to own them. They also work as well as my other larger wire strippers on larger wires up to 12 gage without any trouble. I've not had a need to use them on wires larger than 12 gage, but I expect they will work well even then. Their well-made, small convenient design makes these a very useful tool.
