| Customer Reviews:
USED AS TOMAHAWK October 5, 2008 I cut out the nail puller on bottom of hammer-hatchet,and tapered the butt to 4 sides,it has the right balance for throwing. For that matter you don't have to really do nothing to it for a great thrower.I generally don't like to have the head secured on a hawk,do to handle breakage on a missed throw. But this Hickory handle is really rugged, and secured with excellence, wish the handle was longer, but It still throws great..I compete in tomahawk and knife throwing, and I'm gonna try this piece at next match.Bethca I can sell some also..Way to go on an extra use for a great tool.Tell you the truth,I never knew there was such as a drywall hammer,I used to just use a Stanley knife, and a regular hammer to install drywall.I did use a hammer like this for roofing, and have seen carpet layers use these for putting down tackstrip.I never used one,and laid carpet for over 25 yrs.about the same time as making knives. But it makes sense, but not using it to chop tackstrip on wood floors,to springy to chop.Concrete floors fine..Exc.tool..Can;t beat the price..
