What blade armor November 21, 2007 It has a clear sticker on the first 4 inches of the tape, this must be the blade armor. Also they say 11 feet out straight maybe if you count the 30 degree arc. Not sure if it's worth the $$ but we'll see.
Best tape available November 4, 2007 This is the best tape measure available, in my opinion. I use mine every day, and they seem to last about 6-8 months. The key is to be careful when you're reeling the tape back in... kinks and burs can develope easily if you let it in to fast, take your time and it will extend the life of the tape somewhat.
bad end January 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this tape worker well for a few mo. then the end starts to go this my 4 tape this year [2006] I'm a plumber us it day in day out . Ilike it can't find one that will work any better
Works so far November 8, 2006 Was familiar with similar item so purchased this one. Haven't used it entirely too much as of yet but still works even as someone has borrowed it once already(things tend to break often in other's hands.)
It's just another tape measure June 6, 2006 I bougt one of these and its a nice heavy duty tape measure. Its good for taking long sideways measurements since it is stiffer than a standard tape. So far it has survived several falls without breaking. I gave it a shot after my last Craftsman broke. I would have to say its built better at a better price. I quit buying Craftsman tape measures after they changed there waranty to exclude blade breakage.
