Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Too low power laser and too heavy.   November 9, 2006
I feel the aluminum level is much too heavy. Hard to believe it is aluminum and feels heavy as steel. When placed on a steel locker, the magnet will tend to slide down the door when attached by the magnet. This should never, ever happen. This laser is too heavy for it's magnet. The laser brighnest is too low, hence only good for short distances, 20 feet or so. On a flat wall, the beam barely lays out a visible line due to the low intensity (or low angle), and that was a very disappointing criteria for me, since I use it for hanging wall objects. Otherwise, it is very sturdy and good quality as I expected. The ability to rotate the laser beam from vertical to horizontal seems to be well engineered. Regretably, I will return to using a spirit level.
