Favorite Tape Measure September 24, 2008
Lufkin "Measureall", I have used this top quality measure for 57 years and always have one in my pocket. I used it primarily in a machine shop and also in the field. My last purchase was for three of this particular model which is my preference. It has an excellent chrome tape, calibrated in 32nds in the first 6 inches, 16ths the rest of the tape on 144 inches total length. It has a replaceable blade, and is very dependable. 1950 tape was chrome plated metal case, now it is a chrome plated plastic case. Outstanding value!!!
