Better than the Others November 14, 2008 I've used the other ones the break away ones (junk) the Malco ones arn't that good these on the othe hand work great for Hardie (fiber cement) and Smart Lap ( LP OSB) would not use any other siding gauge than this one!
Siding gauge and support July 18, 2008 This gauge works like a charm and easily moves from plank to plank. Well worth the money.
Great product May 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
At first our contractor did not want to use them as he had "never done it that way before" But we insisted as it would get the spacing consistent and level. He loved them after he tried them. Easy to use, makes installing the siding faster and spacing is always accurate and level. Great product.
fiber cement gauge August 7, 2007 The Fiber cement gauge makes installing fiber cement siding a breeze. Installation can be done with ease by one person .I recomend this to ANYONE hanging fiber cement.
the cats meow....worth it ..totally worth it!!! May 19, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have tried the cheap ones and even the shear clips that you leave in place and these are the best. We have to mod a set get our more standard 4 inch reveal that we use here on old renovations but nothing a bandsaw and a grinder couldn't accomplish...lol... we also moded our sets by grinding down the back plate to allow it to slip in/out easier so as to not mar the finish when removing on our prefinished Hardie plank (color plus)...anyhow we lovem and re=commend them
