4 out of 5 stars what a great tool!   September 27, 2002

I love my little scribe. Sure, it's a little dinky with no frills, but you get what you pay for. If you want a nicer tool, go with Veritas -- but you WILL pay. I always keep one of these guys in my tool belt -- it comes in handy for scribing for special cuts -- I use mine probably at least once every day. It's small size is a benefit when making those occasional awkward scribes where a large scribe might not fit. If you want a scribe, this is really all you need. Simple. Effective. Cheap (for the price, it can't be beat, and it's easily replaced!) Go nuts! Keep a spare in your truck or tool box!

2 out of 5 stars TINY LITTLE GUY   February 17, 2001

Wow was I surprised when this item arrived,I guess I assumed it was a bigger compass. This thing is tiny.about the size of a pack of chewing gum. It's a nice tool, well made and all that but, boy is it dinky. It works well and for little stuff this is an o.k. tool I'm still shopping around for a larger version. Now get out there and make some circles.
