great bars for the money October 5, 2008
If you need a thin, strong and effective pry bar then this is the pair to get, hard to find in stores, nice stainless steel look and feel. Great for carpenters, and apparently for tile setters too, who stole my last one on a job in Las Vegas when I left it lying around during a break. Highly recommended to mark yours for theft protection. everyone wants it.
Titan 2 piece stainless prybars July 19, 2008
I was looking to replace a lost Hyde 9 1/2" prybar/scraper and could not find any in the stores. The Hyde bars have gone down a bit in quality over the years, going to inferior steel. Still, overall, they are good usable tools.
I am glad I took the chance on ordering the Titan prybars. Unbelievable quality, polished stainless. For those who care, and there aren't many knowledgeable left, you take a tool and hit it with another steel tool and listen to the sound. Good tools ring as do these Titans. The Hyde prybars make a dull 'tonk'. You generally let go of a tool so it is unsupported in the air, give it a rap, and catch it before it falls.
Nice bars May 19, 2008
These prybars have a sharp edge that allows them to easily get behind moldings without mangling them. They have a little flex but good torque. I've had to order 3 more sets for other carpenters who have borrowed them and loved them. Great price too.
