I bought this to remove floor tile, etc. It works well for that. The only thing it can't remove is tile that is really stuck well, and that takes a demo hammer or a heat gun. If you have really tough to remove tile, heat it up with a heat gun, and that loosens the old adhesive, especially the old black asphalt type adhesive. This scraper will speed up your job, though, and will remove a lot of tile quickly. It also works on popcorn type ceilings, although your shoulders will tire quickly. It can also be used on walls if you can get the leverage. It is a quality hardened blade and can be removed for cleaning and sharpening. The big bolt heads and nuts prevent you from reaching too far under materials.
