| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com The 8-inch Bionic Wrench is unlike any wrench you've ever seen before. In fact, it looks and works more like pliers than a wrench. This cleverly designed tool has a pair of spring-loaded handles and a circular head that's fitted with six hardened steel jaws. As you squeeze the handles, all six jaws slide toward the center and lock onto the head of the nut or bolt. This unique mechanism allows the Bionic Wrench to grip hexagonal, square and even rounded fasteners. It fits six standard sizes ranging from 7/16 inch to 3/4 inch, and 10 metric sizes from 11 millimeter to 20 millimeters. This ruggedly built tool is made of hardened, cold-rolled steel and features a rust-resistant black-oxide finish. And it's worth noting that the Bionic Wrench is proudly made in the USA and it's guaranteed forever. -- Joseph TruiniWhat's in the Box 8-inch Bionic Wrench

Concept good...but November 13, 2008 You have to ensure you have the right size. So far, it does NOT fit around anything I have.
I purchased it to help me get the washer thing off the kitchen sink neck thingy...but it is too small.
When it fits, it works great October 2, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This tool has been both a joy and a disappointment to use. The joy, when it fits, is that it is very easy and intuitive to use, it holds the nut securely and there is no need to worry about it slipping, unlike a cresent wrench. This is now the first tool I usually grab to remove a nut. The disappointment is that for many situations, there is not enough room to fit the tool around the nut. Often, the space around the nut has been limited such that only a socket, boxed/open wrench or (groan) a crescent wrench will work.
So, when it fits, it works great.

It's beautifully designed and very well made, but it's not a tool for people with small or arthritic hands. Great collector's item for a toolaholic like me

Tool is OK for general household work. Not sure how it will hold up for heavy work.
