With a price tage of nearly $20.00, is should be constructed of high quality, long lasting metal. It is made of a cheap plastic and I'm not sure how it will hold up. I haven't used it yet but I will be doing some drywall work this weekend. If it doesn't hold up, I will be returning the tool
