A great tool! April 19, 2007
This tool is great for cutting any medium diameter cables, I use mine constantly when working on projects. Definately worth the extra bit to get the jorneyman version, I have both so trust me on that one. You will wonder how you got along all this time straining to cut through these cables with side cutters when this cutter slices through without any problem, and much cleaner too.

Good cutter.
I use it to cut through medium diameter cables in one motion. I also use it to "ring" the insulation on large cables for stripping.
The cutter can also be used to cut coaxial or multiconductor low-voltage cable without crimping the conductors although a dedicated cutter is best for those purposes.
