 Like soft moonlight December 26, 2008
I particularly like the soft blue light that the time projection casts over the room. Much preferred over the red ones on most time projection clocks. The numbers are large and easy to read while my glasses remain on the nightstand overnight. I like the soothing sounds, nice for background while I'm reading but I bought it for the time projection feature. However, the ease of use is a plus, the logical layout of the required buttons make access even in the dark a breeze.
 Won't Last Long December 4, 2008
I bought this clock for my husband, who can't see without his glasses and has trouble falling asleep. He didn't like any of the sounds, except the white noise one. I liked the rain one, but he says the loop of the sound was way too short for him. He like the clock displaying on the ceiling. He could see what time it was without trying to find his glasses or put his face to the clock itself. Then, after about 8 months, the ceiling projector just stopped working for no apparent reason. A few weeks later, the radio started to emmit some type of feedback. It's a great concept, but very poorly made. I expected more from HoMedics and I am sorry I paid close to $30.00 for this piece of junk!

I love this clock. It's compact, easy to set and the sounds are really relaxing. You'll have to turn the volume up pretty loud when using the sounds for waking, because they're relaxing in their own way. Pretty cool the way the time is displayed on the ceiling, though we don't use it because it's a little bright. I'd buy this clock again!

When on vacation, we realized we had forgotten our daughters white noise machine, we went to a nearby walgreens and this was the only white noise machine choice.
The recorded sounds are extremly poor quality. The green numbers in front and the projection are too bright. The lights completely filled the room, it seemed there was no way to escape the surface-of-the-sun-bright lights. We ended up having to throw a big bath towel over it, which dimmed the lights but also drowned the sounds.
