4 out of 5 stars Comfortable, Not too Firm and Does the Job   October 4, 2008
I am 7 mos pregnant and finally decided a body pillow was a MUST b/c my sleeping has gone way down hill. I researched all of the different types of body/maternity pillows out there (Target, Amazon, Bed/Bath/Beyond) and decided on this one b/c it was simple (no crazy/huge shapes), didn't take up the entire bed space and was not terribly firm. I have been very pleased since my purchase. I have had the pillow for at least 3 weeks now and use it every night. It really helps me sleep on my side where I don't wake up every hour like in the past...thank goodness. It is a fairly soft pillow so you can easily bunch it between your legs and grab onto it with your arms to cuddle with it. I like that a lot. I thought a firm pillow would be too firm to maneuver and cuddle with. And again, I didn't want a huge monster in our bed. We have a king bed and the pillow doesn't take up too much space, but it takes up enough; it is still like having another person in your bed. So...if you have a queen bed, this is probably the best pillow for you; I would definitely stay away from the bigger/akward size pillows if you have a queen bed, unless you have the entire bed to yourself... then it won't. In the middle of the night, I have to flip the pillow around in order to turn onto my other side. It sometimes wakes my husband up. If I had a bigger pillow, it would create issues in our bed and would be difficult to maneuver with. I am very pleased and can sleep much better again, not perfect, but MUCH better! It's also a nice enough pillow that we can use in the future for whatever reason, with our kids or whom ever. Quality is very nice and comfy! Definitely recommend!

5 out of 5 stars Body Pillow   September 19, 2008
I had somewhat of the opposite experience of another reviewer. One of the reviewers claimed that they liked it at first and then didn't as they found it overstuffed and were fighting with it every night. I had an initial adjustment. But after several days, I adjusted to its fullness and I am lulled to sleep by its comfort.

I love this pillow. It is very soft and "huggable". I have slept great with it ever since the first few nights. It might take a few days to get used to it, as it is filled generously.

4 out of 5 stars Great for pregnant ladies   August 11, 2008
This pillow has been a lifesaver for me; I can tuck it under my belly for a little support, while at the same time putting it between my legs to jack my hips into alignment. I agree with the person who said that the filling separates in the middle due to the pressure of your knees, but you can always "choke up" to put the cushier part between your knees. I don't agree with whoever said that this pillow flattens out after use; I've had it for about a month and it's still fluffy and supportive. I recommend this pillow.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Pillow   June 9, 2008
This pillow is extremeley comfortable. My fiance is pregnant and suggested she needed a pillow where she can hug rest her legs while sleeping. Now she gets a good nights rest every night thanks to this "feel good" pillow. At times I find myself resting on this pillow since its sooo comfortable. Great for pregnant women or anyone looking to have a comfortable nights rest while laying on something very soft.

4 out of 5 stars Good value for a big, fluffy pillow   June 4, 2008

This is a very big body pillow, it measures 4.5 feet long but as others mention, the real size comes from its girth. It is very fluffy and I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and the size has not compressed that much at all. Its soft but wide enough that it still feels sort of firm. While its still early days, on the positive size, the pillow has not "clumped" up and retains much of its original look/feel. I didn't bother with a cover since the 300 thread count is decently soft and at $27, cheap enough that I don't feel need to preserve it with a cover. Its getting to summer now and the pillow retains heat as most other artificial fills would - so definitely doesn't get too hot which is a plus. I think the key criteria for someone deciding on this pillow is the degree to which they want a pillow with a lot of girth.
