Amazon.com Review Keep track of time with the utmost precision with this attractive atomic analog wall clock from La Crosse Technology. The stylish clock receives radio signals at a 60kHz frequency up to 2000 miles away from its source, the United States Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. By radio communication with its built-in antenna, the clock regularly updates the hour, minute, and second of the day for continued accuracy. Additionally, the clock adjusts automatically for daylight savings time in the spring and fall. An attractive chrome-colored plastic frame encompasses the clock face. Underneath the flat lens, contemporary numerals adorn the face for easy reading. Four buttons allow users to choose the appropriate United States time zone. For those who prefer their clocks to run five minutes fast or to match another clock, the clock offers a manual set option. For the best results, place the clock away from computers, electronic equipment or other articles that receive a signal. The clock may be slow to receive signals upon initial set-up, but should communicate unhindered after one day. This clock requires the separate purchase of one AA battery for a year's worth of power. With a 7-1/4-inch diameter face, the full body of the clock measures 10 inches in diameter with a 1-2/3-inch depth. The clock weighs 1-1/3 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

NICE CLOCK December 24, 2008 I NEEDED A CLOCK IN A HARD TO REACH, HIGH PLACE. THIS CLOCK FITS THAT BILL. EASY TO READ TIME AND WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST FOR TIME CHANGES.
Like a car which is sometimes not starting ... November 11, 2008 I have several of these clocks from different companies and none works so bad as the La Crosse and one of Sharp (it seems it is the same electronics). I live north of Seattle close to waterfront - so you could assume that the radio signal should come easily. But I have a lot of trouble with this clock since in USA the daylight saving period was extended by three weeks - some of the clocks switched to early, others too late, again other refuse to switch. I invested a lot of time setting the clock to the window in direction to Colorado but no result - the hands are standing still, rotating endless or just show the wrong time. So I gave up finally and switched to a SkyScan clock for $19.95, bought at Costco. This clock has an additional digital display, which shows not only date, weekday and even the moon phases but also if the radio signal is received well. I put this clock at the same location where one of my La Crosse clocks failed since weeks and - unbelievable for an experienced La Cross owner - within 15 minutes the time and date was set accurate. I gave this clock two stars because I like the modern "aluminum" design (but it is plastic). Engineers at La Crosse: keep your style, use a better electronic in your clocks and I will come back.
Accurate but Needs improvement July 10, 2008 I really like this clock. I have it mounted in my garage and it seemed to do well for about 3 months. Then the paper clock face started to separate from the plastic back. I used some Gorilla glue to get it to stay attached to the clock back. However, this caused the paper to become "wavy" and uneven when it dried. Now I have a "wavy" clock face that keeps excellent time. I bought this clock on sale at amazon for $12 about a year ago so I can't really complain. I think that if this clock had been used indoors instead of my garage the face probably would not have separted. In any event, it has kept Excellent time from the minute I installed the battery. Worth the money.
Great Clock July 1, 2008 The clock is just the right size and shape for the place we put it. Works great and had no trouble setting it up.
Soso clock June 14, 2008 The atomic adjustment feature did not work on my clock. But it works well enough as a conventional clock that you set manually that I did not send it back. I would not recommend it.
