 great for sitting stage December 15, 2008
I bought this product for my son when he was about 7 months old. It was the perfect toy for the sitting stage. The pieces are all held on to the easle by magnets and they are chunky enough for kids to hold in their hands. The easle plays songs and makes a noise when you press the lever and all the magnets fall into a fantastic little net - which means you are not chasing toys all over the room. The kids can then grab them out and start over.

I bought this for my son for his 1st birthday. He loves it! He has a blast taking the magnets on and off, and pushing the lever to make them fall. The music is cute enough, and there's a volume button too. I think we'll get many more months of use out of this toy!

I originally bought this gift for my niece and while it grabs her attention occasionally, my son is fascinated with it. He loves the lights, the music, and the cow and sun. He just simply enjoys playing with this toy. Great toy all around!

The Magnetic Easel is well made, easy to put together with nice bright colors but does not hold my 1 year old's attention. He bats the magnetic shapes off the easel and walks away. My two year old likes the lever that pulls the magnets off into the basket but he too gets bored and walks away within a minute. Maybe it's their gender but neither finds this a captivating toy. Also, the magnets are a little of out proportion to the scenes provided to make a real picture.
Wonderful Christmas gift January 19, 2007
My about to be one year old received this gift for Christmas. He absolutley loves it! He is able to manipulate the maginets and loves to listen to the music. He did try to climb in the basket, but quickly realized that he did not fit. The great thing was that the toy did not tip over with him climbing on it. It was very easy to assemble and is a must have for all parents!
