Okay September 27, 2007 Good sturdy construction. It's not very portable but I don't know of any pack n' play that is truly portable. I have yet to get my daughter to take a whole nap in it, mostly because she is attached to falling asleep in a sling and doesn't like to sleep alone. Also the sleeping surface is a bit hard. I do use the changing table a lot. I'm hoping to get more use out of it as a place for her to sleep in the future.
one little problem... August 20, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
this pack'n'play works great, the only thing i dont really like about it, which took me a while to realize, is that on the changing table part, there is a hard piece of material (to support the baby while it is lying down getting changed) that does not cover the whole changing area. my daughter would constantly cry when i would change her, and i never knew why. come to find out, the back of her head was always resting on 1/2 of the hard material, and the other 1/2 of her head wasn't being supported by anything. i started putting a small pillow or would use a few receiving blankets as a cushion for her head and from that point on she never cried again!
Very Unhappy Customer August 6, 2007 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
The product is fine. However, I am very angry at Amazon. I was having difficulties managing the site and logged off. Went back on, ordered one but without my authorization you sent me 3 and billed me for 3. They are impossible to return so I am trying to sell them on my own. It will be a long time before I use Amazon again. A very unhappy customer.
Very functional, fabric pattern not as seen online July 20, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I received this pack n' play as a registry gift from Target. My husband and I chose this Graco model because of the ease of use and features on it. We had tried out a Chicco model at BRU and it took 4 people to get it folded and put back up! Anyway, when we got it and opened it, it was just as we had tried in the store and we had it assembled in about 20 minutes. It was very easy to fold and put into the bag. The bad part. The photos online show the pattern to be somewhat subdued and "chic". When we opened it the pattern was very bold and the blue stripes in the plaid was like bright turquoise blue, not a baby or smokey blue like I had thought. I laughed because it looked so crazy with the brown and cream. We are keeping it. The functionality is what is most important and it's not as bad as some of the other models we have seen and we wanted something gender-neutral. Just be forewarned of the brightness in the pattern.
Great, but consider this other product July 5, 2007 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
PEAPOD Plus - Princess
We have this Pack n Play and it's wonderful for at home or driving travel. However, we recently purchased this Pea Pod (the red one, not the pink one) and I think it's much more practical for travel (especially international travel). It folds up to the size of a small diaper bag and has it's own carrying case. It zips up, so child can't crawl out. We got it a week before we left for Italy and let my one-year-old sleep in it in her own room every night before we left and she loved it. Definitely try it out before you leave to make sure your child doesn't mind being zipped up! Once we got there, she was in a familiar space and didn't mind being in a new room for naps and bedtime. She slept great while we were there.
