Disappointed November 3, 2008 I purchased this product and it worked very good the first two times. Afterwards, I blew it up and 2 huge knots came in the middle. I was careful not to over fill it with air. With this being within a reasonable time from the purchase date, I called Intex and explained the situation. They barely spoke English and would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. They stated that all supervision was located in China and not available to speak to customers. They simply refused to negotiate any kind of customer satisfaction. In its current condition, the bed is not usable.
Great bed, great value November 2, 2008 I love this bed. I had to get something to sleep on for a few weeks and went with this due to the other positive reviews and the low price.
The bed inflated quickly and is big enough for two adults to sleep comfortably. It is so comfortable I didn't want to switch back to our mattress when it was time. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
Love this bed! August 20, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I actually came accross this airbed when a friend of mine lent me the item when i had some friends visiting. I gave up my bed and slept on the airbed! I have to tell you it is comfortable and sturdy. I am a big guy and had no problems with the bed at all.
It was easy to inflate. Plug it in and turn it on. The pump does all the work. I unlike some, I had no problem folding (the trick is folding into 3rds) it up and slipping it back into the nice shoulder bag.
After my friends visit i decided to purchase one of these beds myself.
Got it filled it up to make sure all was good and of course it was!
Item was shipped and recieved it before the expected date!
The price of this bed is fantastic because most airbeds i had looked for at most department stores stared over 150.00!
Very pleased with this product.
Much better than expected! May 18, 2008 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
We recently bought a new king-sized pillow top mattress and box spring hoping to ease my back pain. After a few months, decided to get rid of the king size bed because of the constant back pain. Our next step was to investigate the "Sleep Number" bed which is an expensive air bed. We then came across the Intex inflatable bed and thought we'd give it a try. Best bed purchase we ever made. Have not had one aching back since we purchased it and the price was much much lower than the other air bed. After the first couple of days, I thought that it would lose air and we'd end up on the floor. No way! I filled it once when we got it and it has held up ever since. I know this bed won't last forever so when this one is worn out, I will purchase two of them. Ahhh! Finally a good night's sleep!
Great Air Bed! March 19, 2008 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
We love this air bed! It is tall enough you don't have to struggle to get in and out of bed. Our last air bed was too low to the ground, it was so hard to get up and down. The built on air pump is great too, it is so easy to add more air or release air and the cord fits into a nice little compartment. We had no problem using a fitted sheet on it either :) It is really comfortable and so easy to use. Inflating and deflating is fast and simple. And the best part is that it fits into the drawstring bag (included) making it very portable and easy to store away. Only recommendation is to buy a foam pad, because if its cold then the air in the bed is cold and then its impossible to stay warm.
