Product Description A variety of attachments for your Kitchen Aid stand mixer
Amazon.com Review This assortment of attachments makes your KitchenAid stand mixer as flexible as a Swiss army knife. You get the food grinder, the slicer and shredder, and the fruit and vegetable strainer. Pull out the first and you're grinding meat, breadcrumbs, and more; the second churns out sliced vegetables for potato chips, coleslaw, and the like, or shredded potatoes for hash browns; and the third has you whipping up apple butter in a snap. Each has its own instruction booklet, with tips and recipes. An excellent gift set for your favorite stand-mixer fan. --Betsy Danheim

Not what was advertised September 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These attachments are great. However, the package i recieved did not come with the wooden plunger that is pictured. You need to have this to use the food grinder, and the food strainer. Nothing else (like wooden spoons, etc.) work for this purpose. Make sure you ask about that wooden plunger if you decide to purchase.
Other than that, the product would have been great and a great deal.
I know she loved it. September 23, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my Fiance because she was interested in making applesauce, applebutter, and she wanted to do some jellies and jams. Suffice it to say that it cut back the amount of work she had to do by almost 2/3rds. We didn't have to peel any of the apples or pears, it took the majority of the pulp from raspberries out and gave us pure juice.
If you have someone, or if you are someone that wants to get into canning or food processing, I would recommend this device as an attachment to your KitchenAide mixer. Well worth the investment.

Easy To Use? Maybe?? September 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the attachment package to go with my new KitchenAid Mixer. I had to have my husbands help getting the attachments to go on. I have a little arthritis in my hands and can't get a good grip on things. I thought it a little dangerous looking and I used a towel to remove the slicer. It locks in hard but I did get it apart. It worked wonderfully tho. I've only used the thin slicer so far, for making bread & butter pickles. Perfect slices!! With a little practice I'm sure I will get the hang of putting it together without my husbands strong hands. But I do suggest some caution when handling the attachment slicers tho!! Happy Cooking!!
Good deal and fast shipping too! September 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently purchased this on Amazon and I received it by UPS the following day! These attachments are very handy. I have tried them all and they serve their purpose, however, I prefer my KitchenAid 12 cup food processor over the slicer / shredder attachment included in this package. My food processor has much sharper blades and I think it does a much better job. I really wish that KitchenAid still made these attachments out of metal instead of plastic. This is the second set I have owned because the first set I had developed a crack right where it hooks onto the mixer. I know that this is a common problem because I have seen these for sale on ebay and many of them have the crack(s) in the same location.
Kitchenaid Attachments September 15, 2008 I have used the grinder and the shredder attachment and found them both easy to use and both worked well.
