 Great Deal May 18, 2008
We purchased when we could get the 4 for 3 offer...What a deal. The item is not only cost efficient, but it works so well. Smells great but the smell goes away rather quickly - within a day or so. I think it does take stains out fairly well and works well with our Hoover Steamvac. Not much residue left over after pick up but we also do a clean rinse when done just to make sure nothing is left behind.

I used the amount prescribed on the bottle label. It did an excellent job of cleaning and left my carpet smelling so clean and pleasant.

This detergent has a great smell and cleans great. It is a concentrate and a little goes a long way. I will buy it again. Amazon's price are normally the cheapest around.

This detergent works very well. It has a pleasant oder and has a very low "suds effect", which allows the rug machine to work as designed without premature filling of the recovery tank. This is the detergent designed exclusively for the Hoover SteamVac which is by far the best rug cleaner available on the market. So stick with the Hoover name. I bought this for $19.95 and free shipping from Amazon for a 128oz size bottle which will give me around 26 refils. To put it another way, that's 26 gallons of carpet cleaning solution. That will clean a lot of carpets with just one bottle! ALso, I saw it at Walmart for $5. less-not a bad deal, but you will probably use that much in gas and time spent getting it there.
