Product Description This glass teapot with a capacity of 40 ounces turns the act of brewing tea into an artistic presentation. Loose tea leaves are placed into the glass infuser, hot water is added, and when the water reaches the desired color or strength, the infuser is lifted out along with all the loose leaves. A glass lid keeps the heat in, and the graceful loop handle makes the pot easy to pour. Tea flowers look beautiful in the pot, too, and work best without the infuser. Made of lightweight yet laboratory-strength borosilicate glass, the teapot won't stain and is safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher. For the tea drinker, Primula also sells a glass tea-making mug and packets of tea flowers, which are AA-grade green tea leaves and actual dried flowers that are hand-sewn into tight balls by artisans in China. After a tea flower ball is place in hot water, it will slowly sink to the bottom and unfurl into full "bloom." Some even have two different kinds of flowers that unfurl into a colorful spectacle, adding fragrance and flavor to the tea.

Just a little teapot May 26, 2008 As the title says, it's just a little teapot. But it's an attractive, and functional item. It's very easy to use, and clean. Shipping was fast, and price was reasonable. It was a good purchase, and I'm very satisfied!!!
gifted but not used May 18, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Primula glass tea pot with infuser- I was given this as a mothers day gift. When I went to pour the tea the handle cracked and I could not use it. My daughter tried to get another one sent and Amazon stated that they could only give a refund upon return. I would have liked another as it was a delightful gift.
Fun to watch, tasty to sip May 12, 2008 I ordered this for my Mom on Mother's Day. My four year old son enjoyed watching the flower "bloom" and Mom and I enjoyed the tea. If you like your tea strong you will want the flower pod to steep for a good 15 minutes, so the steeping will take longer than using a traditional tea bag. However, the entertainment value is worth it.
Shipping issues - item arrived shattered May 10, 2008 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
Item was shipped via UPS without any padding whatsoever - just a thin glass teapot in a box. Needless to say, it arrived shattered. This may be a great product, but I'll never know.
This is just too sweet May 10, 2008 I love this little Primula Glass Tea Pot with Infuser for watching my performance teas in the morning, its just the right size for two people, goes in the dishwasher for fast clean up and looks really nice displayed on my table when not in use.
