 EEK - that was a bad purchase August 31, 2008
I got them for $11 which is what drew my attention to them at first. $11 seemed like a bargain for sheets. But I forgot to remember that you get what you pay for. The color (I got eggplant) is quite beautiful, but the sheets are not holding up well and I wouldn't advise anyone to buy them. Live & Learn

I am happy with the texture and color of the sheets I purchased. The king size fitted sheet however, is a bit too large for my king bed so it slides around quite a bit. Over all I'm satisfied with the price I paid and the merchandise I received.

I read all the reviews and then went ahead and ordered them half expecting these to be a Amazon.com return even at the reasonable price I paid, but thought what the heck, I'd give it a try. They are not like real satin sheets that do not stay on the bed at ALL. These feel more like silk and not at all what I had expected. Stating that - we LOVE the sheets for summer - they are light and breathable. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the weird seam on one side like they got cut too small so they added a extra piece to make them fit. I was ale to put it up at the top so it does not show even on our 12" mattress. I have only washed them 2 times so I can not attest to the durability yet but my seams seem to have been sewn properly - say that 10 times fast!!! LOL!

These sheets are have a silky feel as if I'm staying in a 5 star hotel! Great price and quick delivery, too.
microfiber... that feels like satin August 1, 2008
The sheets were definately more satiny then microfibery, and one of the pillow cases wasnt sewn all the way, so I had to resew it. They are slippery though, so if you wanted a true microfiber feel I would suggest keep looking. If you want satin sheets on the other hand, you cant beat the price on these.
