Product Description New space - saving planter... The Upside - down Tomato Garden. Forget staking tomato vines! Let gravity take over with this innovative Planter that elevates the planting bed. Up to 4 tomato plants grow downward from 4 pop-out holes in the bottom. Hanging vines need almost no attention. Tomatoes ripen in the air, where they won't rot. Grow additional veggies, flowers or herbs on top in normal fashion. The 23 x 23 x 4 1/2" base can be filled with sand for added stability. Heavy-duty plastic planter box is supported by a PVC center pole and durable PVC support posts. Slight assembly needed, no tools. 25"sq. x 7"d. box stands 52"h. Weighs 20 lbs. Put your green thumb to use, order today! The Upside-down Tomato Garden

Total Garbage (expensive garbage) August 11, 2008 This is the greatest idea, but so short on delivery of design and materials used for support. I agree with other reviewers, NO CENTER support pole and this bends due to the week corner poles...very crummy quality material.
Don't waste your money. July 24, 2008 I saw this in a catalog on a flight back home. Although I found them to be expensive (about $80 each), upon my arrival I immediately ordered two. A waste of money.
The planter is bulky, flimsily built and just plain, old ugly. I also has a tendency to topple over which is very frustrating seeing how fragile tomato plants are. Its container barely holds enough soil for two tomato plants, much less four, and the way it is designed, shades the tomato plants preventing their proper growth. The tomatoes I was finally able to grow were consistently and seriously undersized. After several months of this, I threw the planters away.
I still think growing tomatoes upside down is a great idea, but for anyone willing to try it would recommend instead the Revolution Planter from Gardeners Supply Co. at $19.95 each.
So far, so good June 9, 2008 We've had this garden for a month now, and our tomatoes are reaching for the sky, and the lettuce on top is growing great. So far, so good. Absolutely no issues to report other than complete satisfaction.
Upside Down Tomato Planter June 7, 2008 We are enjoying it. Had to put in two metal supports on sides to make sure it would not tip.
I Love it!! April 26, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great product. Exactly as described and very sturdy. It looks beautiful planted with tomatoes and herbs & flowers in the top planting area. I am very pleased. Fast shipping and excellent post sale follow-up by this company. I would buy one again and recommend it to all.
