I was hoping to use this on the floor of my closet in my bedroom, but it requires a hard surface to get an accurate reading. That's my only complaint, though - otherwise it's a great product. Nice bright numbers and a quick "set" time.

scale is exactly what it is intended for it is accurate and easy to see it cleans easily it is not heavy and fits well in any bathroom

Found out I was "pre-diabetic" (isn't that like "almost pregnant?"), so away we go to diet land. Had an older digital scale, but they never were spot-on with the doctor's scale - these are! Great illuminated display, LARGE numerals, easy to read even when half asleep. Almost too pretty to step on, but this thing is really solid. Built like a rock. And no more "Tap it to turn on" like my old scale, just step aboard and "read 'em and weep". Accurate enough for me to see small progress every day, which is a big encouragement for me. Well worth the $$$$$.

This scale is everything it says it is. It is accurate (I compared to my doctor's scale) & easy to read. I like the size - fairly small & flat - so it doesn't take up much room. I tested it on 2 different surfaces (one very smooth & the other coarse) and the results were the same. The weight does stay lit for about 10 seconds after stepping off the scale - long enough for someone to come in & sneak-a-peak.
