Product Description Safe and easy to use, the Aerolatte milk frother eliminates the need for expensive steam-based machines. It works directly in your mug or glass using an innovative whisk-head to turn milk that has been heated in the microwave or stovetop into rich, thick foam in just 20 seconds. Use for lattes, cappuccinos, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Made from food-grade stainless steel. Includes instructions, recipes, a handy stand and 2 AA batteries. 5 Year Guarantee.
Amazon.com Review Whip up an easy after-dinner cappuccino for guests with this steam-free frother with stand from Aerolatte. The frother foams skim, whole, and soy milk alike for fluffy hot cafe lattes or cold chocolate malts in seconds. (Frothing water-based powdered milk is not recommended.) The frother features a sleek chrome body with a slender 18/8 stainless-steel whisk, designed for optimum foaming efficiency, and is compact for easy travel. Two installed AA batteries power the whisk as it froths milk up to 60 degrees C. For best results, turn on the frother with whisk placed near the base of the mug and slowly raise and lower the unit as foam develops. Foam forms in only 15 to 20 seconds. To avoid splatters, turn the frother off before removing from the beverage. The included chrome stand holds the frother secure while protecting the whisk wand with a sturdy, circular base and two sets of arms that fit snug around the frother body. To clean the frother, run the whisk in hot soapy water and rinse. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the frother in water or place in the dishwasher. Aerolatte offers a five-year guarantee against defective parts or craftsmanship for this product. The frother measures 8-3/4 inches long, and weighs 1 pound upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

Love it! January 1, 2009 I got this Christmas and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I use half and half, heat it for 25 seconds in the microwave, then froth it for about 10 seconds and pour the coffee while continuing to froth. Every morning I am treated to coffee that I like better than Starbucks! The other day, I ordered my usual tall Misto and was actually disappointed, and that was one of my "treats". It's easy to clean and the batteries are still running strong.
Awesome little machine! January 1, 2009 My sister gave me the Aerolatte, and I thought to myself, "Well, here's a worthless little gizmo she probably found in a Marshall's sales bin." Oh, how wrong I was. My wife and I have used this gadget every single day for over 2 years. It works very, very well. It's such a cool little gadget (which we load with greenbatteries' ultra-low discharge rechargeable NiMH batteries) that we've bought a couple for our friends as well.
3 years ago, when our steamer on our espresso machine broke, I went into a minor depression, then I further exacerbated my mood by whisking milk on a hot stove. Deus ex machina! The aerolatte! Milk in a mug, minute-thirty in the micro, twenty seconds with our aerolatte and badda bing, you can literally SCULPT with the amazing foam this baby gives ya. Go froth and prosper.
Wonderful Product December 22, 2008 I gave my wife this handy device last Christmas. Everyone fell in love with it so I had to buy more as gifts this year for family. Great for mixing beverages and whipping things and so light weight. I have to say be careful the first time you use it. It is very powerful and will surprise you at its speed. We use it EVERYDAY, and it still has the same batteries. I highly recommend.
AMAZING FROTHER! December 12, 2008 I can not believe how well this works, how inexpensive it is and how much we love using it. Latte's, hot chocolate- we have a cup of tea just to froth the milk. I use it, my children use it and I have given several away for gifts. It is the perfect kitchen tool. Love the stand too.
Not for milshakes, etc. December 7, 2008 I made the mistake in buying this to mix milk-protein drinks, it just doesn't have the power to do it. I'm going to buy a Cuisinart or Proctor Silex plug in model that have a lot more power and are about the same price. This is probably great for frothing milk, but they shouldn't have advertised it for making shakes or anything that is thick.
