We are switching from plastic to glass for food storage. These containers are perfect for a serving of soup and they have vented lids for use in the microwave. Unfortunately the vent covers are not permanently attached to the lid so they can be misplaced.

I'm tired of plastics that absorb odors and goodness knows what they emit when microwaving. Glass is a wonderful choice and this size is perfect.
