Product Description In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities. The F??ri Rachael Ray 4-in. paring knife is a functional, all-purpose knife perfect for any small slicing task. Designed with F??ri's patented wedge-shape handle, this paring knife also has antimicrobial protection and Rachael Ray's ???super duper??? rubberized grip that makes chopping and slicing comfortable. This basic knife is a terrific addition to anyone's collection and comes with its own guard, protecting the blade during storage or while on the go.
Amazon.com Review Created by Fueri in cooperation with celebrity chef Rachael Ray, the Gusto-Grip line of knives are well-made, user-friendly, and fun to look at as a bonus. Designed to retain sharpness and maximize efficiency on the cutting board, Gusto-Grips blades are fashioned from a single forged piece of premium CrMoV German stainless steel. The nonslip polypropylene and rubber handles in cheerful bright orange have a comfortable reverse wedge shape that minimizes the need for squeezing and molds ergonomically to the hand. A smart touch, antimicrobial protection on the grip limits bacteria, mold, and deterioration. A great little tool, this Gusto-Grip paring knife has a versatile 4-inch blade suited to trimming eyes from potatoes or slicing nectarines. The finger notch creates greater control, and the piece comes with a blade guard that is especially handy in the picnic basket or lunchbox. A match for the Gusto-Grip chef's and santoku knives, the parer carries a limited lifetime warranty and is best washed by hand. A 3-1/2-inch Gusto-Grip parer is also available. --Emily Bedard

great gift October 21, 2008 I purchased this knife and loved it so much I bought one for my daughter and daughter-in-law. They love it too. It is the first knife I reach for.
Normal Paring Knife August 5, 2008 I really expected an excellent paring knife from Rachel Ray, but this one is about like all the others I have. It works fine, but is certainly not unusually sharp.
Pairing knife July 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you are planning to replace this with one of your pairing knives that came in a furi set, do not order. The quality is not the same and it will not fit in your knife holder that furi supplies. It is ok as a knife on the side to use but not the quality that furi normally puts out. In fact the color is not even the same as it has a slightly off color handle compaired to the sets. Would I order this again. No.
Furi Knives May 12, 2008 I agree with other reviewers that these knives are not of the same quality as the paring knife that comes with the set, but they are also not the same price! For the price, these knives are excellent. They are very sharp and so far have kept their edge. If you are looking for a REALLY good inexpensive knife, this one will fit your needs.
Great! March 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I recently purchased this knife and thinks it works great for everything. Nice feel in hand. I do think it is really sharp maybe too sharp for me. But does a great job. I grab to use it for everything now. I am thinking of purchasing another one.
