This set appears to be from a manufacturer that 'cheats' on their thread counts by counting plys and not threads. Even with repeated washings, the sheets have remained very stiff and wrinkling, even with my front loader and immediate removal, remains a problem.

They get 2 stars because they haven't pilled and the color has remained true, but these aren't 'luxury' linens by any stretch of the imagination.

I have 310 TC sheets that are far softer. Read the fine print and only go for Pima, Supima or Egyptian cotton and make sure the turkeys aren't counting plys instead of full threads. I sure miss Wamsutta's pima sateen sheets that are no longer made. They were 250's and soft as a cloud. Fieldcrest's dotted 310's were delightful as well, also gone.

I should have paid attention to the other reviewers. Even at the low price, these sheets really weren't worth it.

I'll go back to the high priced spread, at least I'll get what I pay for.
