 Cute dishes but terrible packaging September 26, 2008
i just got my dishes and i have to return them because one of the little saucer plates arrived completely shattered. Both Corelle and Amazon did a terrible job of packing the dishes and I don't appreciate the run around. I looked to Amazon to get my problem resolved but they recommended I contact the manufactorer of the dishes. OK, so I do and then Corelle tells me that its Amazon's fault (they get a LOT of calls about dishes being broken in transit) and give me Amazon's customer service phone number to call. I call Amazon and they want me to go find the exact matching saucer plate somewhere else and buy it, then then they would refund me my money. WHAT? that is so stupid- they want me to hunt down a single saucer plate to match up my set?? so, instead i decided to just screw it and return the whole set (including the shattered dish) back to Amazon for them to deal with. i think i'll just go to my local Bed Bath and Beyond and buy a set there. at least when i get it home there will be a better chance of it getting there in one piece! AMZAON YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this product but was very disappointed with the shipping. I ordered two sets to find I have to replace 2 cups due to not properly being packaged considering there was glass. The boxes only had air filled pockets in the open spaces but not protecting the sets, also the box was not marked fragile anywhere on it. Amazon needs to work on their shipping!
Products meet high expectations August 4, 2008
Corelle is known to be durable and high quality and these are no exception. This set is great to have with small kids as the items are light and don't break or chip easily. The bowls are a great size for fruit or cereal and plates are big enough to put an adult size portion as well as light enough for the younger ones in the household. Corelle may not be cosmopolitan but it sure is convenient and useful for the middle class family that wants something that looks nice but won't break the bank.
